“Seattle Storm Overpowers Toronto Tempo 90-78 with Flau’jae Johnson’s 20-Point Lead”

Flau’jae Johnson led the Seattle Storm to a 90-78 victory over the Toronto Tempo with a 20-point performance, supported by Dominique Malonga’s 18 points. Seattle, struggling with recent losses, saw contributions from Jade Melbourne with 16 points and seven assists, as well as Awa Fam and Zia Cooke each adding 10 points to the scoreboard.

Toronto faced challenges as their top scorers, Marina Mabrey, Brittney Sykes, and Nyara Sabally, were sidelined due to injuries. Despite the setbacks, rookie Kiki Rice stood out with a season-high 24 points, while Isabelle Harrison contributed 17 points and 14 rebounds for Toronto.

Seattle took control of the game in the third quarter, ending with an 11-4 run to secure a 64-61 lead, and continued their dominance in the fourth quarter with a 9-2 spurt to establish a 10-point advantage.

Looking ahead, the Toronto Tempo will face Las Vegas on Friday night, while the Seattle Storm will host Los Angeles on Sunday.
