Clavicular, also known as Braden Peters, a prominent influencer and streamer, is facing serious charges including rape, drugging for sexual intercourse, and providing alcohol to a minor, as per online court records accessed by CBC News. The 20-year-old was formally charged on September 8 in a Cape Cod, Massachusetts courthouse for offenses allegedly committed on May 23, 2025. An arraignment is scheduled for October 14, and Peters is not currently in custody. The identity of the alleged victim remains undisclosed in the court filings.
If convicted, Peters could potentially receive a maximum prison sentence of 20 years for the rape charge. The news of these criminal charges prompted Peters to take to social media where he identified the plaintiff as fellow influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, dismissing it as a petty attempt to gain attention. He shared a video and a letter from Mendoza praising him, along with comments discrediting her motives.
Peters, known for his “looksmaxxing” content that includes extreme practices like steroid use and facial bone modifications to enhance attractiveness, boasts a following of over a million on TikTok. This is not the first time Peters has faced legal issues; earlier this year, he was charged for unlawfully discharging a firearm and was hospitalized due to a suspected overdose during a livestream.
In response to these charges, Peters’s representative accused media outlets of exaggerating the situation to attract more traffic. Mendoza’s lawyer declined to comment, citing ongoing police involvement in the criminal matter. The charges appear to stem from a prior civil complaint where Mendoza accused Peters of battery, fraud, and sexual misconduct, alleging he injected her face with an unauthorized substance and engaged in sexual acts without her consent when she was a minor.
The controversial nature of Peters’s content has drawn scrutiny for its potential harm, particularly concerning young men and boys exposed to “looksmaxxing” ideals online.
