The service, named Revolut Mobile, offers unlimited 5G data, calls, and texts for just £12.50 per month, making it a highly competitive option compared to similar plans offered by other major UK networks like EE and Vodafone, which charge £25 monthly for similar packages.
One of the standout features of the Revolut deal is the inclusion of 20GB of roaming data across the EU and the United States at no extra cost, making it an attractive choice for frequent travelers. This feature allows users to stay connected in popular cities such as Paris, Berlin, New York, and Los Angeles without incurring additional charges, a benefit not commonly offered by other UK networks, especially for US travel.
In addition to the generous data and roaming allowances, Revolut Mobile also provides a Messaging Pass for global messaging in over 80 countries, enabling low-bandwidth messaging via platforms like WhatsApp. Users have the option to add up to three phone numbers to a single plan, simplifying the management of work, personal, and travel lines. Furthermore, each subscription includes a complimentary NordVPN membership for enhanced online security and privacy.
The service is currently being rolled out to customers on the waitlist, with full public availability expected by January 2026. While Revolut’s entry into the mobile network market is considered ambitious, industry experts caution that success is not guaranteed. Analysts emphasize the importance of strong execution in combining banking services with mobile connectivity, especially in the highly competitive MVNO market, where customer loyalty is hard to secure.
