KSI launched a scathing social media assault after Andrew Tate’s loss to Chase DeMoor in the main event of Misfits Mania on Saturday night. The two had been engaged in a feud since October when Tate took over as the chief executive of Misfits Boxing, replacing KSI.
The popular YouTube star was furious about the change, especially since he had co-founded the organization with manager Mams Taylor. Before the fight began, KSI celebrated Anthony Joshua’s victory over Jake Paul on Twitter, as the British heavyweight triumphed after six rounds.
KSI has a longstanding rivalry with Paul, dating back to their early boxing matches involving their siblings. He expressed his desire for an Arsenal win and for Tate to be defeated to make it a perfect weekend.
The Gunners did secure a 1-0 win over Everton in Merseyside, leading KSI to tweet, “This is the best weekend I’ve had this year omg.”
Further adding insult to injury, KSI posted a photo of Paul and Tate in vulnerable moments after their respective matches, captioning it with “Christmas came early” and a crying emoji.
Despite Tate’s extensive background in combat sports including MMA, kickboxing, K1, and Muay Thai, he had not competed professionally in five years and had never been in a boxing match before. Although Tate started strong, his stamina seemed to diminish as the fight progressed.
DeMoor took advantage of the situation, landing a powerful right hand on Tate, shifting the momentum of the match. Tate acknowledged DeMoor’s victory post-fight, stating, “I’m really happy for him, genuinely. Better to try and lose than to not try at all.”
Following the defeat, Tate shared several posts on Twitter, including one stating, “Most men have never felt the sting of defeat because most men have never even tried.”
