Virgin Media users are in for a treat this week as Sky Atlantic makes its debut on Virgin TV 360 and Stream box starting Wednesday, April 1. The best part? There will be no additional cost for customers to enjoy this new addition, maintaining the same price structure.
This exciting development means that viewers will have access to popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus. To tune in, all customers need to do is navigate to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform starting Wednesday. Furthermore, Sky Atlantic content will also be available on-demand and through Virgin TV Go for added convenience.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, expressed enthusiasm about the new offering, stating, “Our promise to our customers is simple – to offer seamless entertainment at incredible value – and the addition of Sky Atlantic on Virgin TV is testament to that. The channel is home to gripping drama and incredible stories from the UK and the US and has given us some of the biggest watercooler moments of our times. Now, over a million Virgin TV customers can enjoy Sky Atlantic with no added cost or action required.”
In addition to the Sky Atlantic arrival, Virgin TV customers have another reason to celebrate. The provider has announced a significant content upgrade at no extra charge, unlocking the TV Ultra HD channel for all TV customers until Sunday, April 12. This upgrade will offer a nightly lineup of advert-free entertainment, featuring family-friendly films, iconic rock performances, and a diverse range of documentaries.
Some of the highlighted movies and series on the channel include Playmobil: The Movie starring Daniel Radcliffe, The Invisible Man featuring Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss, season one of Cobra Kai, and The Last Turtles, a documentary series showcasing the work of the Dominica Sea Turtle Conservation Organisation. Music enthusiasts can also enjoy Rolling Stones: Olé Olé Olé – A Trip Across Latin America, chronicling the band’s journey through South America and Mexico, culminating in a historic concert in Cuba.
