“Sky TV Merges Cinema Animation & Family Channels”

Date:

Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in their channel lineup starting April 30. Sky has merged Sky Cinema Animation with Sky Cinema Family, consolidating the two services into one channel. This move aims to simplify the viewing experience by bringing all family-friendly films to channel 304.

While some may fear losing content, all movies previously available on Sky Cinema Animation, such as Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, will still be accessible on Sky Cinema Family. The merger does not remove any content but streamlines it into a single channel.

For those missing Sky Cinema Animation, the channel will make a temporary return during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This ensures that viewers can enjoy the channel during these periods when children are out of school.

Sky assures customers that the transition will not affect their access to beloved movies and promises a seamless viewing experience through the updated channel lineup.
