Following the accident, her organs were donated to save the lives of five critically ill patients in Vietnam.

The circumstances leading to the crash are still being investigated, but it is reported that Orla was a passenger on the motorcycle when the driver lost control. Her mother, Mrs. Wates, shared that the decision to donate Orla’s organs was made to honor her daughter’s giving spirit and love for Vietnam.
