The individual responsible for the tragic car accident involving Anthony Joshua, which resulted in the deaths of his personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, and strength coach, Sina Ghami, has made a court appearance in Nigeria. Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, aged 46, attended Sagamu Magistrates Court in Ogun state near Lagos, with his hearing postponed to March 13. He faces charges of causing death by dangerous driving and reckless and negligent driving. Kayode, who was granted bail, is also accused of driving without due care and a valid license and could potentially face a life sentence.
Anthony Joshua survived the collision and was discharged from the hospital on New Year’s Eve after sustaining injuries. He has since returned to the UK for rehabilitation. Joshua expressed gratitude for the support he has received during this challenging time, acknowledging the significant loss of his friends, Latif and Sina, who were integral figures in his life. He emphasized their close bond and shared commitment both personally and professionally.
