The family of Joshua Kershaw, discovered deceased in a Thailand hotel, has released a photograph of an unidentified woman they wish to contact. Joshua, aged 21, was found unconscious in a bar in Bangkok on January 13 and later passed away in the hospital. His mother, Jenny, residing in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, mentioned in a recent Facebook post that authorities have reopened the investigation into his death.
According to Jenny, Joshua had only been in Thailand for around 10 hours before his demise. She revealed that his death is now being treated as a potential murder or manslaughter case due to the presence of seven different substances in his system at alarmingly high levels, raising significant concerns. The case in Thailand has been reopened and is being probed as a murder case, with the family awaiting official confirmation from the UK coroner.
Jenny has shared a picture of a woman unidentified to them, stating that she was with Joshua at the time of his passing. Urgently seeking to identify and contact this woman, Jenny emphasized the importance of speaking with her as she was in possession of Joshua’s personal belongings. She urged anyone recognizing the woman to come forward promptly.
In a plea for assistance, Jenny requested the public to share the information widely in hopes of reaching a larger audience. Joshua had traveled to the popular tourist destination of Pattaya for a week-long vacation. His family reported him missing when he failed to board his return flight on January 12, and he subsequently missed a second flight on January 19, prompting UK authorities to classify him as a high-risk missing person and launch a search operation.
Tragically, on January 21, Jenny announced on Facebook that her son had been found deceased. A GoFundMe campaign was initiated to repatriate Joshua’s body and cover funeral expenses. Originally from Grimsby, the young landscaper was brought back to the UK before a funeral service was held at Wakefield Crematorium.
