“Google Chrome Urges Immediate Update for Critical Bugs”

Date:

Google has recently addressed two critical bugs in its Chrome web browser, urging users to update their settings and restart their browsers promptly. These vulnerabilities, known as CVE-2026-3909 and CVE-2026-3910, were classified as zero-day threats, indicating active exploitation by cybercriminals.

Chrome users need to ensure they have the latest version installed to be protected from potential attacks. To verify the current version, users can access the “About Google Chrome” section in the browser menu. The safe versions for Windows/Mac are 146.0.7680.75/76, and for Linux, it is 146.0.7680.75.

In the event of using an older version, users must update to the latest release by clicking the install and relaunch button promptly. Google has confirmed the rollout of version 146.0.7680.75/76 for Windows/Mac and 146.0.7680.75 for Linux in the coming days/weeks to mitigate these security risks.
