A tragic incident occurred when a university student was discovered deceased at a service station situated on a bustling motorway, as detailed in court proceedings. The distressing event unfolded at Forton Services on the M6 in Lancashire on February 19, where the lifeless body of Michele Chung, a 21-year-old student from Wales studying earth and environmental science at Lancaster University, was found.
Following the discovery, emergency services were summoned to the scene. An inquest into Michele’s passing commenced at Preston Coroners’ Court on March 26, led by Area Coroner Emma Mather, who confirmed the identification of Michele’s remains by Detective Inspector Mark Green through her ID card.
