A 27-year-old model, Adva Lavie, has been accused of using dating apps to lure wealthy older men into relationships and then stealing from them to support her extravagant lifestyle. Lavie, who is also known as Mia Ventura, allegedly drove to the victims’ homes in a Porsche, where she would take cash, gold, and designer items. The authorities claim that Lavie, who has been featured in Playboy and Penthouse magazines and boasts of being the top Israeli OnlyFans model, carried out this scheme between 2023 and 2025. At least five victims have been identified, with more than 10 additional individuals coming forward in recent months.
Following a preliminary hearing, a judge decided there was sufficient evidence to proceed with a full criminal trial for Lavie, who resides in Los Angeles. She is facing six felony charges, including unauthorized use of personal identifying information, grand theft, and residential burglary. Despite pleading not guilty to all charges in December, the Los Angeles County District Attorney has confirmed that she will stand trial.
District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman stated that the case will be presented to a jury to demonstrate how Lavie exploited trust established through online relationships to gain entry to victims’ residences and commit theft. Lavie is set to be arraigned on April 6 and is currently under electronic monitoring while out of custody.
Allegedly, Lavie targeted both wealthy older men and younger women in affluent neighborhoods of Los Angeles, such as West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. If convicted on all charges, she could face a maximum sentence of 11 years and eight months in prison. Last October, the police issued an alert describing Lavie as a suspect in a series of residential burglaries across Los Angeles County, particularly targeting elderly men through social media dating platforms.
