A tragic incident involving a fake nail has resulted in the death of a one-year-old baby, as suspected by the police.
The unfortunate event took place on Saturday, March 21, when baby Dante Valentín Bermudes Rumi was at home with his mother, Aylin Saucedo. Amidst a moment of distress as Dante struggled to breathe, Aylin sought help from a neighbor before rushing him to Dr. Federico Abete Hospital.
Despite all efforts made, Dante was declared deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital. A post-mortem examination revealed that the child passed away due to asphyxiation caused by ‘two objects’ obstructing his airway. An investigation by the authorities into this tragic incident has been initiated.
Aylin Saucedo, a manicurist, recounted the heartbreaking event in Los Polvorines, Greater Buenos Aires to the media. She expressed, “My son passed away on March 21. We were at home when I noticed he was having difficulty breathing. I sought help from neighbors and family, but unfortunately, my son did not survive.”
Following the incident, tensions escalated as the baby’s father allegedly assaulted Aylin, her new partner, and her father upon arriving at the hospital. Aylin later revealed that her ex-partner went to great lengths to prevent her from attending their son’s wake and funeral by withholding crucial information.
In the wake of her son’s tragic demise, Aylen took to social media to express her grief, lamenting the loss of her son and the pain of facing each day without him. Her friend, Angeles Belen, extended words of support and love during this difficult time.
