Samsung has officially announced that the upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones will be revealed later this month at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco on February 25. The new lineup is anticipated to include the standard S26, the S26 Plus, and the S26 Ultra models.
To provide fans with access to the event, Samsung will livestream Galaxy Unpacked on its website starting at 6pm GMT. Interested individuals can register in advance to receive various perks, such as a £30 voucher for Galaxy ecosystem products, enhanced storage options for pre-orders, and the opportunity to win £500 Samsung vouchers.
The company highlighted that the new smartphones are designed to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) features to enhance user experiences. Samsung emphasized that the Galaxy S series represents a significant advancement in AI technology, aimed at simplifying daily tasks and seamlessly integrating AI capabilities.
Before the launch of the new models, retailers are reducing prices on the current Galaxy S25 range to make room for the upcoming devices. Sky Mobile, for instance, has lowered the monthly cost of the S25 Ultra from £43 to £31, offering customers a substantial saving of £432. However, this deal requires a 36-month contract and comes with a limited data allowance, potentially requiring additional data purchases.
Meanwhile, Amazon is offering a 20% discount on the standard S25 and S25 Ultra models for outright purchases, with discounts of nearly £250 on select variants. The prices have been slashed to £639.20 and £999.20, respectively, but the promotion is only valid until February 24 or while stocks last.
