Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at the CES tech show in Las Vegas. This compact device is an upgrade from the previous Freestyle model released in 2022, boasting enhanced AI features, improved brightness, and expanded entertainment choices.
The standout feature of the Freestyle+ is its user-friendly setup process. Thanks to Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, the projector can automatically adjust the image to fit the surroundings, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This simplifies the viewing experience, allowing users to start watching content with ease.
AI OptiScreen introduces several innovative features to enhance image quality under various conditions. These include 3D Auto Keystone for correcting image distortion on uneven surfaces, Real-time Focus for maintaining picture sharpness during movement, Screen Fit for automatic image sizing with compatible screens, and Wall Calibration for adjusting the image based on the projection surface’s color and texture.
The Freestyle+ continues the tradition of portability with a built-in speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity, and support for popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Samsung’s Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business, Hun Lee, emphasized the device’s adaptability to different environments, providing a high-quality viewing experience on the go.
Although pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Freestyle+ is expected to hit stores early in 2026, offering consumers a versatile and intelligent solution for enjoying content anywhere.
