“UK Theme Parks Unveil Thrilling New Rides for 2026”

Exciting developments are on the horizon for enthusiasts of UK theme parks. Many parks are gearing up to welcome visitors for the upcoming spring season, with some unveiling new rides and themed areas. From thrilling attractions to family-friendly shows, there’s a lot to look forward to in the coming year.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the major UK theme parks and the new attractions set to debut in 2026.

Paultons Park is set to introduce Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, a new themed land opening on May 16. This addition will feature three Viking-themed rides: Drakon, a vertical lift rollercoaster, Vild Swing offering a 39ft high swinging experience, and Raven, a revamped bobsled ride named from the Cobra coaster. The new land will also include a Viking-themed playground and dining hall for an immersive experience.

Chessington will unveil the World of PAW Patrol in spring 2026, offering four new rides, including Chase’s Mountain Mission, Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, and Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue. Additionally, Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure will be the first of its kind in the UK, while Rubble and Rocky’s Playzone will provide interactive play opportunities for kids.

Alton Towers will introduce Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies! on March 28, a roller coaster suitable for young fans of the popular show. The park will also expand its CBeebies Land hotel with new Bluey-themed rooms for guests to enjoy.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach will launch Aviktas, a £8.72 million gyro swing ride, expected to be the tallest of its kind in the UK. The park will also celebrate its 130-year anniversary, offering discounted tickets for visitors booking in advance.

Crealy will debut two new rides in 2026, including Pirates’ Plummet, the South West’s tallest drop tower, and Rotor, an inverting air race ride for thrilling experiences.

Pleasurewood Hills, under new ownership, plans to introduce four new rides, including Star Flyer, Spinning Coaster, Apple Coaster, and the Big Wheel, pending approval.

Exciting times lie ahead for UK theme park enthusiasts as these new attractions promise unforgettable experiences in the upcoming year.
