Virgin Media customers who already subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels are in for a treat starting next month. Sky Atlantic will be included for free, granting access to popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus without any additional charges. This upgrade will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box users, with the new feature set to roll out on screens from April 1.
To enjoy Sky Atlantic content, customers simply need to switch to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform, with on-demand viewing options also accessible through Virgin TV Go. David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing exceptional entertainment value by introducing Sky Atlantic to their lineup.
In a parallel move, Sky has unveiled the Ultimate TV plan, featuring premium channels like Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this comprehensive offering will be compatible with Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described this development as a transformative moment for Sky and NOW, consolidating Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under a single subscription package.
These updates signal an exciting period for Virgin Media and Sky customers, enhancing their viewing experience with a broader selection of top-tier entertainment options.
