Tragic Discovery at Owston Hall Golf Course: Child Found Deceased in Pond

A tragic incident unfolded at Owston Hall golf course in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, where a child was discovered deceased in a pond, prompting a significant police inquiry. Emergency services swiftly responded to reports of the missing youngster yesterday morning. Witnesses observed a substantial emergency mobilization, including a police helicopter, drones, paramedics, and the air ambulance. The child’s age and gender have not been disclosed by the authorities.

A spokesperson from South Yorkshire Police stated that on Monday, March 30, a child was reported missing in the Skellow area of Doncaster. Law enforcement officers, along with additional resources such as police drones and aircraft, were dispatched at 9:50 am. Following an extensive search, the child was found in the pond at Owston Hall golf course. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the child was tragically pronounced deceased. The family of the child has been notified and is receiving support from police officers during this difficult time. The entire SYP community expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family.
