Clevedon, a charming coastal town in North Somerset, was my home for the first two decades of my life. For city escapes, convenient bus links to Bristol and proximity to Yatton train station made exploring Bath a breeze.
Although I’ve moved away from Clevedon, it remains a favorite destination of mine, rich with attractions like the expansive pier, quaint shops, and diverse dining options. Clevedon’s main beach, with its golden pebbles and marine lake, offers a unique coastal experience. The town’s seawater infinity pool is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, attracting swimmers and water sports enthusiasts year-round.

Stretching over 1,000 feet, the pier features intricate ironwork and brass plaques bearing names and messages from patrons. Notable figures like the members of One Direction have graced Clevedon’s pier for music video shoots, leaving a lasting impact on the town.
In addition to its celebrity appeal, Clevedon has served as a backdrop for renowned productions like Broadchurch and Never Let Me Go, adding to its cinematic allure. The town’s Hill Road is a hub of independent shops, offering a range of unique products and services. Trendy bars like Vintage & Vine and Limehouse, along with local attractions like The Clevedon Distillery and the Fallen Tree Micropub, contribute to Clevedon’s vibrant social scene.
Clevedon’s town center features a mix of branded stores, cozy cafes, and the weekly Clevedon Market, adding to the town’s charm. The Curzon, one of the world’s oldest cinemas, continues to delight moviegoers with its historic ambiance and red velvet seats.
