The updated strategies involve an intensified utilization of advanced mapping technology to pinpoint high-risk areas, along with an expansion of live facial recognition, deployment of knife arches, and increased neighborhood patrols.
Recent statistics indicate the addition of over 3,000 police officers and Police Community Support Officers to neighborhood positions within a year, emphasizing a proactive approach to combatting knife-related offenses.
