“Greene King Offers 100,000 Free Pints This Bank Holiday”

Date:

Greene King is set to distribute 100,000 complimentary pints this bank holiday Monday. Patrons can claim their free drink by simply uttering “I’m home” at the bar. The selection of complimentary beverages includes Greene King IPA, Guinness, Old Speckled Hen, or a soft drink. The initiative is part of Greene King’s “Home at Your Local” campaign, which encourages individuals to view their local pub as a “second home.”

In addition to the free pint giveaway, Greene King will host numerous “pub warming parties” throughout May. The festivities will kick off with a special pub quiz hosted by The Two Pints Podcast stars Ralf Little and Will Mellor at The Albert Pub in Victoria, London, on May 3.

Legendary duo Shaun and Bez, along with DJ Jon Da Silva, will launch the inaugural Greene King rave day at The Deansgate pub in Manchester on May 9. Andrew Gallagher, Brand and Marketing Director at Greene King pubs, expressed enthusiasm about the role of pubs in British culture and as spaces for community gatherings and cherished moments.

The campaign aims to celebrate welcoming pub environments and the sense of being “at home” when visiting one’s local. Ralf Little emphasized the significance of pubs as places for camaraderie and enjoyment, supporting the Second Home Scheme. Will Mellor shared his excitement about participating in the pub warming parties and uniting people through shared experiences.
