As spring emerges, families gear up for the upcoming Easter holidays, signaling the start of exciting days out at theme parks. Alton Towers, Legoland, Chessington, and Drayton Manor are set to welcome visitors with new attractions, rides, and Easter-themed events.
Easter festivities at Alton Towers kick off with the debut of the world’s first Bluey rollercoaster in CBeebies Land on March 28. Dubbed Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies!, this ride promises a thrilling journey through the Heeler’s back garden. For more adrenaline, Alton Towers offers a range of exhilarating rides, including the Toxicator, a spinning ride that flips riders upside down while spinning at high speeds.
Chessington invites guests from March 28 to April 12 to join Bonnie Bunny for a Giant Easter Egg Trail and enjoy the park’s thrill rides along with access to Chessington Zoo and the SEA LIFE Centre. Additionally, a new PAW Patrol land is in the works for 2026, featuring rides, meet and greets with characters, and play areas.
At LEGOLAND®, children can celebrate 15 years of LEGO® NINJAGO® from March 28 to April 12 by engaging in ninja skills activities and meeting NINJAGO heroes. LEGOLAND is also honoring its 30th anniversary with special birthday celebrations, including a new show called Birthday Brick Bash.
Paultons Park presents the Hoppy Easter 2026 event where visitors can meet Bobtail and Betty Bunny, and explore Easter-themed decorations throughout the park. While the new Valgard: Realm of the Vikings land won’t be ready for Easter, it will open on May 16, featuring exciting rides and a themed restaurant.
From March 28 to April 19, Drayton Manor will host a Care Bears Spring Celebration, offering activities like coloring a Care Bears mural, meeting characters, and enjoying themed shows. Guests can also explore Thomas Land, the zoo, and various rides at the park.
For those planning a visit to these theme parks, exciting experiences await this Easter season.
