“Morrisons Slashes Prices on Household and Food Essentials”

Date:

Morrisons has recently reduced prices on a wide range of popular products, including essential household items. The price cuts extend to its Market Street fresh produce line, covering items like Fyffes Loose Bananas, Morrisons Baby Potatoes, Corn Cobettes, and Baby Plum Tomatoes. Additionally, reductions have been applied to items in the Morrisons Savers range, encompassing various food and household necessities such as Apple Juice Drink, Toilet Rolls, Fresh Mint Toothpaste, Mature White Cheddar, Fish Fillets, and Wonky Carrots.

Among the discounted branded products are Birds Eye Fish Fingers, Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Tate & Lyle Granulated Sugar. These price reductions are now in effect both in Morrisons stores nationwide and online. This initiative follows Morrisons’ earlier price cuts on 2,500 products in January, aiming to assist consumers in saving money amidst escalating food prices.

Moreover, Morrisons recently announced Easter discounts on seasonal roast essentials, offering carrots, parsnips, and whole swede at just 4p each. However, despite these new discounts, it’s advisable for consumers to compare prices across different retailers to ensure the best deals.

Alex Paver, Morrisons’ Pricing and Customer Director, emphasized the company’s commitment to helping customers manage their budgets by lowering prices on everyday essentials and popular items. By reducing prices on thousands of key products, Morrisons aims to support customers in reducing their weekly shopping expenses while maintaining the quality the brand is known for.
