Sky is offering a special deal to some of its customers for a limited time, where they can enjoy a free upgrade adding 35 extra channels to their viewing lineup at no additional cost. This offer is available until October 16th and applies to customers with the Essential TV package, instantly enhancing their package to the more comprehensive Sky Ultimate TV option.

With this upgrade, viewers can access premium channels like Sky Max, Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries, U&Gold, and Comedy Central without any extra charges. Sky explained that this promotion allows Essential TV subscribers to enjoy over 35 additional channels, featuring popular shows like Brassic, Mr Bigstuff, Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries, U&Gold, and Comedy Central.

Furthermore, viewers can watch new programs such as The Paper on Sky Max, The Office on Sky Comedy, as well as FBI and Fire Country on Sky Witness. If you are subscribed to Sky’s Essential TV bundle, the upgrade will be automatically applied to your account without any action required. Should you wish to continue with the enhanced package, you can upgrade to Sky Ultimate TV for just an additional £3 per month.

In addition to Sky’s offer, Virgin Media is also providing complimentary access to various channels including Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, and Baby TV throughout October. This means households can enjoy a range of content such as Pip and Posy’s Spooktacular Party, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Peppa Pig without the usual subscription fees. Virgin Media introduced this promotion in time for the October half-term break.
